Las Vegas Leads U.S. in Investor Owned House Defaults.
Nevada had the hottest real estate market for investors two years ago. Now investors are defaulting. These were loans of sub prime origination. According to the Mortgage Bankers Association thursday, 29% of the 2005 loans (which are the ones defaulting today) were to investors.
